Access Statement For Avonlea Guest House

Introduction

The Avonlea is a 1930′s detached house situated on a main road close to Banbury Town Centre.  Whilst we aim to meet the needs of all our guests there are some features of the property which might make access difficult for people with limited mobility.   The driveway and parking area up to the house is covered with shingle and there is a step up to the front door.  We have one ground floor room with doorways of average width but would not be suitable for wheelchair access.

Pre-Arrival
• We are located on a main road heading into the town and are ideally suited for those arriving by train or coach and also adequate parking for car users
• The shops and town centre are only 5 minutes walk away
• The bus station and train station are 15 minutes walk away or a short taxi ride
